“Underwater Hunting Photography Contest”, one of the most important innovations for the city of Kyrenia within the scope of Kyrenia Fest23, stood out as an awareness event that adds color to the festival and symbolizes Kyrenia. With the content of the competition showing positive interaction and results, the 2nd Underwater Hunting Photography Competition, which is planned to be held every year, is taking place in the Mediterranean waters this year.
The Underwater Photography Competition, which was born with the idea of bringing to the surface the serene underwater life that comes to life beneath the surface of the Mediterranean and the life in the heart of our seas, which host thousands of species, through photographs, offers us an opportunity to see the beauties of life in this sense.

Terms of participation
Participants should;
- Be an “advance” diver.
- Have a diving computer
- Have their own diving equipment and tank
